Sulaimani citizen for seven years are waiting to implement a project, lastly the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) at its difficult and crisis of Coronavirus arena decided to start on the project. The project provides thousand Job Opportunities and prohibits traffic jam to the city for coming twenty years. The KRG Premiership implemented his pledge to the city; it is a merited Gift to suffered city.

The project of Sulaimani’s 100-meter highway is strategic project in the result of expanding the city due to eliminate traffic jam in the city. In his ninth cabinet agendas, the Premiership has planned to fulfill this project.

The project in the Sulaimani master plans consists of two roads which maintains from west to east of the city. By finishing the whole project, 60-meter’s roads and 100-meter’s roads connect network streets together. The entire areas of the project consist of 472 km2. This project solves the city congestion problems for coming twenty years.

According to the design of the project, the road will be 146 kilometers long and completed in three phases. The first phase of the project will stretch from the Tasluja Bridge to the Arbat-Sulaimani road, while the second phase will connect the Arbat road to a tunnel through Goizha Mountain, and the third phase will run from behind Goizha Mountain to the Sulaimani-Dukan road. The first phase started to work on by Qaiwan Company.

The allocated budget of the project is 400 billion IRQ Dinars on the KRG budget. As the Prime Minster said "this project is signs for continuous and we do not allow crisis and obstacles stop us”. Finally the road that people of Sulaimani dreamed for has been decided to work on and Masrour Barzani said "people of Sulaimani deserve more projects”.
