The Election & Swap Mechanism

The election system is mirror of political system, if election process presents the outcome works of politicians, thus election rules is becoming a political system.

The foremost principle of democratic government is having a successful election without sensors and equally participating of individuals. Exchanging power mechanisms by election is an easier way than any other mechanisms. There is a deep bond between democratic procedure and election. Today's election has become democratic equipment, particularly in Eastern societies. The conception of election had been depending on in ancient Greece, and then used in Europe and Northern America on the last of seventeen and beginning of eighteen century, in Arabic countries about sixty years has been used and focused on into political issues.

The definition of election in a simple word presents a process that voter freely without any physical or psychological sensors participate for the sake of his/her rights. Meanwhile, it can be said that the election is processed to exchanging power through election rules. Election rule is different from one state to another. Even the election is fulfilled in totalitarianism countries, but what type of election? In Iraq during Sadam’s regime, the result of the election was (%99, 99) for the regime.

The election system is mirror of political system, if election process presents the outcome works of politicians, thus election rules is becoming a political system. Jan Cack Russo claimed that democracy presents governing from people to people. In consequence, the election is not the structure of democracy, but is an immense step to organize the society into democratic views and achieves individual’s rights; therefore, the citizens take part in rebuilding the democratic equal society. The election can be defined as a suitable mechanism for exchanging the power.
